Lindy's Audio Cafe
95 - Gratitude, Learning and Compassion
Show Notes Chapter Markers

Today's episode was created after a week of reflection.   As we head into Thanksgiving weekend, it's important to recognize that although we have many things to be grateful for, it has not always been an easy path for everyone around us. To the contrary, for some people history has left a legacy of trauma and painful memories. It is important to set aside time, reflect and listen to the stories shared by elders in our communities.
In today's episode I touch base on many topics, including gratitude, the celebration of Thanksgiving, sadly the impact of the residential schools and the importance of listening, learning and caring.   As we talk about celebrations, it is important to acknowledge where they began, and move forward with respect and compassion.
