Hello rain and welcome keyboard!
It's been a busy past few weeks, and I honestly have avoided the computer when the sun is shining. Now I have to be honest, it can be hard to be busy in the yard because my passion is working with photos and creating slide show videos. This is my outlet for creativity and fun.
Have you ever taken the time to learn a skill, and slowly worked on improving it? In the old days, we went to the library and brought a book home. We could learn anything from how to draw sketches to installation of a toilet, in books from the public library. Now we are so fortunate because there is a whole world of information right at our fingertips. Sometimes it can be overwhelming, but with a little tenacity and focus, online videos and manuals can help guide us into new learning experiences. How lucky we are because when we keep on learning we are exercising our brain. This is so important because our brain, just like muscles, needs to be kept active in order to be healthy.
Podcasting has become a learning outlet for me, in addition to a place where I can be creative and have fun. I love what I am doing. Hopefully you can see and hear the quality changes in the episodes as time goes on. Remember the old saying that Rome wasn't built in a day? Well, a self-taught podcaster has to navigate many steep curves, and the video component adds extra skills. Thank you for being with me and sharing this journey.
Have a great week everyone, and remember that smiles come in all languages and in all colors!
