I just went through the drive-thru to pick up 2 gift cards. I was fortunate to have cash as they are still offline. The lady at the drive-thru told me she had been yelled at by several people because the system was down and they could only take prepaid coffee cards or cash. People, really, calm down. It is not the fault of the coffee shop employee that there is a nation-wide cellular/data outage. As far as that goes, even the provider is doing their best to rectify the situation. Have you ever been driving your car and had a mechanical? How about your appliances - do they ever quit on you from time to time? I know this is big, believe me, I had a little incident this morning and it was a time when I sure wished my cell phone worked. Guess what? In the olden days we had horse and buggy so let's be grateful for what we do have, and when things go wrong, step back before you chastise someone and think of how you would feel if you were in the driver's seat when sh** hits the fan. We are all human folks, be kind. After all, we are in this world together!
