The creation of a first published novel is a huge undertaking. In this episode guest Anne M. Smith-Nochasak shares her experience as a first time novelist.  Speaking from the heart about her creative journey with A Canoer of Shorelines, Anne offers an insight into the environment that helped form her writing platform.  An outdoor enthusiast and retired teacher, Anne spends her summers outside enjoying kayaking, canoeing and hiking.  Accompanied by her faithful dogs, Anne prefers the calm and peace that comes with time spent outside in fresh air.  Her passion for paddling is evident in this novel, however the stories of Julie and Rachel are purely fictional.  This episode will be of interest to anyone who enjoys reading, writing and spending time with nature, or simply listening to a positive podcast.
